Monday 27 - Wednesday 29 June 2016

As Chester is so fabulous we decided to stay here for a few days.  We have walked the City wall and shopped 'til we dropped.  We went for a bus ride out to Cheshire Oaks - a factory outlet as big as you have ever seen!

We have frequented a few bars and been kept awake by the students - they like to come and sit by the canal at 3 o'clock in the morning - bless them!

All I can say is; if you have never been to Chester you must put it on your bucket list of places to visit.

The Little Tin Chapel

Exploring the City Wall.

Queens School.

Chester Race Course - look at the view from the City Wall!

Chester University.

The Bear and Billet.

Look at these lovely terraces with their backyards - just like on the telly!

The Cathedral.

That's Driftway down there - we went down to say hi to Steve and Shelley - they are just leaving - hopefully we will bump into them sometime.

Stand there - I can just reach it now! These goats were in the Cathedral grounds.

Looking down at the cut from the City Wall.

What a great bus - you can do the City Tour on this but it keeps raining so we haven't done it yet.

The Church - this one is now a pub!
