Thursday we went on the
City Tour Bus in the morning. We should
have done it at the beginning of the week really as we didn’t see anything that
we hadn’t already walked to or past!
When we got back we decided to go back into town to get some lunch but we
accidentally went on a pub crawl!
We met a couple of
young lads that had just finished jury service, an old chap that I left Steve
talking to as his accent was so strong that I couldn’t understand him and two
ladies that were on a night out. Everyone
that we have met has been really nice and welcoming and seem generally pleased
that we have enjoyed their City.

They call this building the gasometer. |
Radio City Tower. |
A bad photo of the Catholic Cathedral - they call it Paddies Wigwham! |
That's the outside of the Philharmonic Dining Rooms. |
There's our boat - second from the right! with the Anglican Cathedral dominating the skyline. |
