Surfaced a little late and had breakfast before setting off
again – another nice day and still surrounded by amazing countryside. We stopped at a village called Whittington to
grab some milk then carried on until we reached Whittington and Fradley
Junction where we went through a swing bridge then turned left and joined the
Trent and Mersey Canal, through three locks and another few miles.
It didn’t rain this afternoon as forecast – happy days! We decided to stop in a nice remote spot
tonight just before the village of Armitage – all we can hear is ducks, sheep
and a distant train.
Leaving Hopwas - what a great little place, well we had fun anyway! |
