Lovely - summer's here
again! Shorts and sun cream today. It all feels so different in the
sun. We had a long cruising day today - set off at 8.45am and didn't stop
until 6.30pm in a great little village called Penkridge. Lots of boats on the canal today. The locks on this
stretch are very deep but thankfully the gates and paddles are not too hard,
except for one!
Leaving our quiet mooring just before Armitage. |
Sending Lou into the tunnel to check for oncoming traffic. |
