Left our spot under the M25 at about 10.00am heading for Rickmansworth, we were told it was about 5 locks along the canal.  Eventually arrived at 3.15pm 14 locks later!  The locks on this stretch are quite tough, some paddles and gates are really challenging.  Stopped for an essential pitstop emptying loos and rubbish.  Found a nice spot to moor and went for a walk into the town.  The stretch of canal that we have covered today has been mostly pretty - through Hunton Bridge and Cassiobury Park - we thought we had gone past The Grove Golf Course today but looking at the map we didn't - it is actually not far from where we are moored now - it was The Grove Park and The Grove Mill!

Goodbye M25
